Job description:
As a Senior Product Owner reporting to Director of Product Delivery, you'll play a critical role in shaping the user experience and product direction of Nasdaq's Trade Surveillance platform — a leading compliance solution used by teams across the globe.
You'll thrive in this position if you're curious, client-focused, and data-driven, with a passion for fintech and a talent for turning complex problems into clear, actionable solutions.
Own and evolve the product roadmap, translating strategy into a prioritized backlog that balances client needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
Serve as the voice of the customer — engaging directly with clients to gather insights and converting their challenges into well-defined requirements for the development team.
Partner closely with software developers, QA engineers, and delivery specialists to ensure high-quality, on-time product increments aligned with the roadmap.
Define and communicate clear acceptance criteria, reviewing completed work to maintain quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Align product strategy with broader business objectives by collaborating with stakeholders across technology and business functions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable client-facing product role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Clear communicator with experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and translate complex business needs into actionable deliverables.
Nice to have
Experience in financial services, capital markets, or a regulated industry.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and ceremonies (e.g., Scrum).
Exposure to global teams and cross-border collaboration.
Company offers:
We offer a competitive, well-rounded rewards package designed to support the financial, physical, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families (where applicable).
We utilize a structured job architecture and career framework to ensure growth opportunities are transparent, fair, and accessible to all employees.
